We’re Not Automating Accounting. We’re Building Its Operating System.
Most people think accounting is about documents. Invoices. Receipts. PDFs. It isn’t.
Accounting is about decisions, millions of them, made continuously under uncertainty across fragmented financial data. For decades, humans carried that burden. We decided they shouldn’t have to.
What We’ve Built: Arti
Our core product is Arti. Arti is not rules-based and it isn’t prompt-driven automation. It doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Arti learns.
Every correction improves future decisions. Every edge case becomes training signal, and accuracy compounds over time in production. This isn’t simulated learning or offline experimentation. It’s real-world, self-learning close infrastructure running against live financial data and real documents.
The Close Starts With Ingestion
Automation fails when data collection is fragile, so we didn’t treat ingestion as an afterthought.
Arti automatically ingests financial information from email inboxes, mobile app uploads, web uploads, cloud storage, and automated client chasing workflows. There is no manual sorting, no broken handoffs, and no humans acting as routers.
But ingestion isn’t the point. What happens next is.
Documents and Transactions Become Events
In Arti, documents and transactions are not the source of truth. They are inputs.
Everything is normalised into financial events. A financial event is a linked representation of financial reality. It combines documents, transactions, jurisdictional context, timelines, and business intent.
Events are stateful, context-aware, and connected. This abstraction is what makes real automation possible.
What Arti Actually Understands
Once information is ingested, Arti does not reason over files or transactions in isolation. It reasons over events.
Arti understands how documents and transactions map into a single financial event, how events relate over time, how national accounting practices affect interpretation, and how context changes treatment.
Traditional systems ask which category a transaction belongs to. Arti asks what financial event actually occurred.
The Scaling Problem Most AI Products Hit
A self-learning system is powerful until you try to extend it.
Adding new financial domains, supporting different national practices, building deeper integrations, or collaborating across the industry stack often makes systems brittle and slow.
That is the problem we solved with Omni.
Omni: The System Beneath the System
Omni is our internal workflow and orchestration layer, built deep inside the accounting tech stack and tightly integrated with Arti.
It allows us to extend the system without fragmenting it, safely orchestrate complex close workflows, and evolve the platform without rewriting the core.
Omni understands events, state transitions, dependencies, financial context, and risk boundaries.
Building With the Industry
We believe the future of accounting technology is collaborative.
Specialised platforms across the industry stack should be able to work together, closer to where financial events are interpreted and decisions are made.
We already collaborate with partners such as Avalara, and we actively invite other collaborators across the industry stack to build their own Omni modules alongside us. If you are solving a specific problem in the ecosystem and want to bring that capability closer to the bookkeeping layer, we see that as alignment.
The Bigger Picture
Arti is the brain and Omni is the nervous system.
Together, they turn the close into continuous, autonomous, self-learning infrastructure. The books do not close. They are always closing.
Why This Matters
The close is the foundation of economic truth.
If it is slow, businesses hesitate. If it is wrong, decisions break. If it is manual, scale collapses.
By turning the close into self-learning, event-native infrastructure, we unlock clarity, speed, and trust.
What We Believe
The close should be invisible, continuous, correct, and improve on its own.
One day, people will look back and ask why humans ever did this manually.
We’re Just Getting Started
Arti is live and learning. Omni is expanding beneath it. We are building the operating system for accounting..
